Self Calligram!

This is the calligram of a picture I took at the Czech Republic bridge, it was cold during the time so the black area is my scarf! This project was fun to do because I wrote my letter and picked out the words that I wrote into the image and moved them around based on the different kinds of shapes that I had created. I first outlined the original image to showcase the parts where I was going to write the text and then made the shapes within the timeline. It took a few hours only because I had a few issues at first like the word didn't go into the shapes or the words wouldn't change color. After a while, I got a hang of the work and it was easier to do! I didn't time myself how long I took because I did a little everyday, but it was fun to make.

Portfolio!

This assignment was extremely awesome to make. I never had the chance to work with indesign but because of this course I have been seeing the same tools all the time and so it was easier for me to work with! I watched the tutorial video and it was pretty much a one, two, three process. I selected this color palette for the design because these are colors that represent me as a person. I enjoy these colors the best and it makes me be in a happy mood! After laying out all of my assignments of what I have done this semester it is crazy to think about how much time and effort have been placed in each one. The grids I ended up working with was the 10 rows and columns because it helped me guide my work to stay within the margin and helped me keep all the images stay the same size so I wouldn't have any funky sizes on each page. Overall, this was fun to make and the design came out delicious!

Multiple Hats!

We all know that when it comes to film production, there are a variety of multiple hats to wear! For this assignment, I went to the black box studio and set up a small shoot for me to take pictures of myself doing different job position while working on a film. It was super fun to make and I even brought outfit changes to give all the characters a different personality! I had to position myself in various locations so it could be easier for me to mask myself out from each photo and then apply them all to one image. I had to blend all the masking and make sure lighting was correct for each one. This was fun to create and it took me a afternoon to shoot and finish editing!
