Self Poster!

This assignment was fun to make mainly because it took a couple of tries to find a good selfie that had a solid plain background in order for the black and white transformation to work out without having too much noise. Then having to edit the image with the brush and making sure it looks clean and understandable that my eye looks correctly, lips, hair, etc. The color palette I got from a spring sample because I liked the colors and made it look feminine. The text was selected because since I am a woman going into the film industry I wanted to showcase that we can do anything! Short and simple message.

Self Calligram!

This is the calligram of a picture I took at the Czech Republic bridge, it was cold during the time so the black area is my scarf! This project was fun to do because I wrote my letter and picked out the words that I wrote into the image and moved them around based on the different kinds of shapes that I had created. I first outlined the original image to showcase the parts where I was going to write the text and then made the shapes within the timeline. It took a few hours only because I had a few issues at first like the word didn't go into the shapes or the words wouldn't change color. After a while, I got a hang of the work and it was easier to do! I didn't time myself how long I took because I did a little everyday, but it was fun to make.

Logo and Business Cards!

For this assignment, I decided to go with the word creative as it is the best word of choice for myself. I enjoyed making these cards and how it transformed from a hand drawing activity to an entire business card! Wow, I am actually going to use this template that I have designed myself and use it. I had fun selecting the colors to and making the logo so simple but memorable. I also taught logos were hard to make because every detailed meant something but after making one it's not as bad as it seems. I got to play around with Adobe Illustrator as well for the first time and that was fun to create. For my mood board, I wanted to do something colorful to make it memorable but after looking at the links on the website I saw that blue and purple were the most professional tones for the mood I was going for. I really like the design and hope you do as well!
